THIS studio is a design office founded in 2016 by the Belgian architect Christian Tartarini and the Dutch interior designer Michiel van Bijlevelt. THIS studio works on the design of small and large structures, interiors and furniture.

An unconventional approach to the design issue enables the duo to disentangle complex programms and to achieve a design of natural simplicity. Their analytical ability participates in creating a design that meets the customers needs and desires. Material properties and the intrinsic characters of each material play an important role in the development of their designs.
